aborion is bad

One of the darkest days in US history was the Supreme Court ruling of Roe v. Wade, legalizing murder of unborn children in the United States. Feminist believed that in order for women to control their lives they needed to have the right to control whether or not they had children. In 1965 millions of women were on birth control and felt that this was the right direction. There were millions of others that didn't want birth control pills and wanted woman to remain abstinent until married. The Supreme Court also extended this "right to privacy in marital relations" to abortion. In 1972 with the Roe v. Wade decision, they believed that they had the right to decided whether or not to terminate a baby. As if somehow killing a baby was a right privacy. Feminist believed that this was a major push forward for women's right while so many others disagreed with the controversial decision. To this day the abortion issue affects our nation as a whole - so much so that the lady involved in the original push to legalize it is now on the side of Pro Life. She regrets the choice and decision to allow the murder of babies. Since many Americans believe that life begins at the moment of conception they also believe that we have legalized murder with the abortion law and that woman can have control over their own bodies with decisions that do not require them to murder innocent children.
